CanWel Divisions

CanWel is headquartered in Vancouver, BC and operates six different divisions between the U.S. and Canada. The majority of the divisions are in Canada as well as Hawaii, California, and Oregon. These divisions include distribution, pressure treating, and a separate fibre division.

CanWel Building Materials Division

Internally transformed materials, such as Treated Wood Products and agricultural posts, complemented by a full assortment of Lumber and Building Materials products (LBM), are brought to the Company’s internal distribution network. The majority of CanWel’s LBM products are inventoried and sold through strategically located Customer Service Centres throughout the country.

CanWel Treating Division

As a market leader in building materials including fencing, decking, and agricultural posts, CanWel uses advanced treating technology to add value to a vast number of products. CanWel’s treating facilities in Canada and the U.S. have an internal capacity of over 750 million board feet.

CanWel Fibre Division

CanWel’s Fibre Division is one of the largest harvesting operations in Western Canada. The division provides road building, logging and trucking services. Two treatment plants, one in BC and the other in Saskatchewan, manufacture pressure-treated posts and poles for agricultural end-markets which include farming, vineyards, and even craft brewing.

United States Treating & Distribution Divisions

California Cascade

Founded in 1974, California Cascade has been focused on delivering quality products and services to customers. Since then, it has grown to become one of the most trusted distributors in the building industry. With distribution operations in Sacramento, Woodland, and Fontana, and 569 storefronts, the company has a large inventory and delivers products to retailers in the Western United States. Products include pressure-treated lumber, decking and railing, fencing, garden, fascia and trim, rebar, hardware and fasteners.

Honsador

Honsador supplies building materials, home planning services, and electrical products and services for residential, commercial, and military markets. In 1935, Honsador opened its doors in Oahu as a millwork and sash and door company. It is now Hawaii’s largest pressure-treated lumber and building materials supplier with seven different locations in Hawaii and one in Portland, Oregon. Large inventory allows Honsador to provide key materials to Hawaii’s largest, mid-sized, and smallest builders.

Lignum Forest Products

Lignum Forest Products LLP is customer-focused and specializes in MSR lumber and Western Red Cedar. Headquartered in Vancouver, BC, Lignum is focused on supplying its products for the North American market through custom cut programs and internal remanufacturing programs. Supplies include, White Woods, Western Red Cedar products like siding, trim boards, fascia, decking, and timbers, and other specialty products. Lignum serves U.S., Canadian, European, Australian, and Asian markets
